Because of COVID-19 PANDEMIC and lockdown, many people lost their jobs and income. So, ADRA Georgia started a project to help that kind of people.
The projects’ goal was to help the people, who lost their jobs during lockdown. The beneficiaries were selected from different denomination churches – Adventists, Baptists, The Salvation Army and Evangelical Faith Church of Georgia. The churches made their own lists, which included their relatives, friends and neighbors. The beneficiaries were not only from Tbilisi, but from other cities, Kutaisi, Kakheti, Zugdidi, Rustavi, Batumi, Tskaltubo.
About 400 family received the assistance.
